cokemachineglow.com is a pretty good music review site with an incredible podcast. Do yourself a favor and subscribe, then get the one called “Fantasy Covers 2008.” Then when eventually someone asks you how you got to be so cool, point them to the Hipster In Exile blog.
Brooklyn Vegan - Not at all about eating. One of the many music blogs that pundits say will displace the major labels as the supreme arbiters of the music world. A decent place to stay up on the Brooklyn scene, and thus what’s going to be hot everywhere eventually.
Not Music Related:
The Simple Dollar - I don’t know who this guy is or what his story is, but his financial advice is rock solid and flavored with heart and character. I love that he considers things other than money to have value. Plus he’s got a recipe for detergent on there.
